NFC Conducts Outreach Activity to Relocated Families at Purok Lubi, Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City
Headquarters, Naval Forces Central, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, April 11, 2021 – Naval Forces Central through Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, NF7 and Civil Military Operations Unit-Central together with Naval Installation Facilities-Central and Naval Reserve Center-Eastern Visayas (511th Naval Squadron Reserve and 131st Marine Company Reserve) in partnership with Brgy Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City Officials conducted a Feeding and Haircut Activity (outreached program) to the relocated families residing at resettlement area Purok Lubi, Canjulao Urban Poor Association, Gothong Rd, Brgy Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu last Wednesday, April 7,2021.
These families were victims of tropical depression Vicky at Sitio Apro, Brgy. Ibo, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu whose houses were destroyed by big waves. The activity aimed to alleviate the sufferings of the affected families in the said relocation site. The activity was conducted in adherence with IATF safety protocols against COVID-19.
Amidst crisis, NFC together with its operation control units and tactical control units continue to display unwavering support of its partner-stakeholders and communities affected by calamities and disasters.
