
KALAYAAN SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS COMPETITION
The competition is designed to highlight the CRSAFP, Youth leaders Organization’s (KKDAT and YFPDMP) efforts in support to the Command’s aspiration for a better organization in celebration of Independence Day 2022.

Submission of Entries: Extended until June 7, 2022, 5:00 PM
Contest period: June 1- 10, 2022
Who may join: Open to all interested Filipino citizen.

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. Criteria for Judging
a. Entries shall be judged based on the following criteria:
15% - Technical Merit
Relevance: Does the photo capture the essence of the theme?
Quality: Is there proper exposure, depth of field, color and/or tonal rendition, contrast and lighting?
15% - Artistic Merit
Creativity: Did the photographer “went out of his way” to capture the moment?
Composition: Are the design elements and principles appropriately balanced?
70% - Social Media KPI
The “wow factor” and social media engagements, reach and impressions.
b. Winners will be notified by email and by SMS. The official list of winners shall likewise be posted on the Social Media platforms of CRSAFP as the Organizer.
c. The KKDAT Sectors, Major Services, PNP through their respective public affairs/information offices shall select the minimum of 10 best entries in their respective units and forward same to O/C3 or IDG, CRSAFP for consolidation. These qualifying entries will be deliberated on by the board of judges.
d. Decisions of the judges are final and binding.
e. The awarding ceremony is during Musikalayaan activity.
2. Photograph Requirements
a. Photos should have been taken between the period Jan. 1, 2022 to present.
b. Each participating unit/sector may submit a maximum of 15 entries if they wish to join.
c. Entries should be unpublished original works and should not have won or entered into any international or local competitions in the last three years from the date of competition.
d. Entries must be in digital format, JPEG or JPG, minimum of 300 dpi.
e. Minor burning (i.e. to darken highlights), dodging (i.e. to brighten shadows) and/or color correction (e.g. color saturation) is acceptable.
f. Severe alteration (e.g. use of alteration “filters”, solarization, messotint, duotone, etc) is not acceptable.
g. High dynamic range (HDR), black and white (B&W), and stitched panorama photos are not eligible.
h. Entries must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
3. Submission of Entries
a. Entries shall be submitted via email with the following details:
• Full name with salutation (Mr./ Ms./ Mrs./ Rank)
• Contacting address
• Mobile phone number
• E-mail address
• Current occupation
• Employer/ organization
• Birth date
b. Each entry shall be properly identified as “Photo 1, (Category)” or “Photo 2 (Category)” and so on in its file name.
c. Deadline for submission of entries: June 6, 2022 at 9am.
4. Rights
a. By joining the Contest, all participants grant an irrevocable perpetual, nonexclusive right to the Organizers and Sponsors, to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entries (along with the appropriate photo credit) in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: display at a potential exhibition of winners; publication of a book or magazine featuring select entries in the Contest; and publication online highlighting entries or winners of the Contest.
b. Neither the Organizers nor the Sponsors shall be required to pay any additional compensation or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
c. The Organizers and Sponsors reserve the right to verify the validity and originality of any entry and/or participant (including a participant's identity and address) and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Official Contest Rules or who tampers with the entry process.
d. Failure by the Organizers or Sponsor to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
